History

In 2007, a group of Wisconsin healthcare organizations, all of which use Epic software, formed a state-wide user group. The vision of the group was to enable local healthcare users of Epic to share, communicate and collaborate on common challenges, goals, and opportunities. Each of these healthcare organizations understood the value of having their internal experts and users of the Epic applications meet to share ideas, experiences, tips, and questions in order to better serve their organizations. The Wisconsin Epic User Group (WIEUG) continues to embrace that vision through offering multiple opportunities to collaborate and exchange Epic knowledge.

Timeline

Since the initial startup of the Wisconsin Epic Users Group (WIEUG), the premise has always been collaboration. Through partnerships, contacts and sharing of trials and tribulations, we have grown stronger as a system and our organizations have benefited from the collective knowledge. Looking forward to the renewed interest and transformation.
