At Incisive, as a boutique staffing firm, we specialize in delivering advisory and staffing solutions that empower clients to achieve their project goals. Whether it’s meeting tight timelines, staying within budget, or ensuring overall project excellence, our team members bring years of experience, lessons learned, and best practices to every engagement.
In a recent engagement with an academic health system, our staffing plan played a pivotal role in fast-tracking their implementation, achieving a go-live date three months ahead of schedule. The deep expertise of our Project Director and Analysts was instrumental in reducing reliance on the selling organization for interfaces, hosting, and other operational dependencies. This approach resulted in ~$500K in monthly cost savings while maintaining high-quality standards throughout the project. Our team also played a key role in advancing technology solutions for a fast tracked, machine learning based training delivery program.
We are also actively engaged with one of the largest health systems in the Illinois-Indiana-Kentucky tri-state area, where our tailored staffing solutions are driving the success of their acquisition projects. By leveraging lessons learned from prior engagements, our team brings specialized expertise in complex Epic-to-Epic implementations, including installing net new modules like Beaker for the enterprise, integrating existing applications into the acquired organization, and implementing new Finance and HR systems as part of the overall integration effort. Implementing a module as complex as Beaker during an M&A integration is a calculated risk that demands skilled leadership and deep expertise—qualities that Incisive brings to the table. While this approach adds complexity to the project, the benefits for patients are undeniable.
In contrast to our previous client, which prioritized stringent budget monitoring and accelerated timelines due to the nature of the acquisition deal, this health system is leveraging our staff to ensure the project is executed flawlessly without budgetary or timeline constraints. With the flexibility of a year-long timeline, we have the unique opportunity to leave a lasting imprint by carefully refining processes and approaches without the pressure of rushing to meet tight deadlines or cutting corners due to budget constraints.
This project is setting the tone for the future of M&A integration initiatives, and as part of that effort, our project leadership team is collaborating with the client to develop the “M&A playbook for IT implementations.” By incorporating best practices, proven methodologies, and lessons learned, the playbook will serve as a comprehensive framework to guide future acquisitions, ensuring consistency, precision, and success.
